The
BackSPA removes hair from your arms, shoulders, upper and
lower back.
Simply hold the the BackSPA with the teeth facing toward the skin
and drag lightly across the unwanted hair, the teeth grab and
cut the hair with no discomfort similar to a back scratching tool.
The overall sensation is quite pleasant.
For
the lower back, flip the handle so that it is now facing
the opposite direction and using the same motion glide the
BackSPA over the unwanted hair to remove.
You
may want to use a mirror to ensure that you have removed
all the unwanted hair. The first time should take a while
as you become
familiar with the tool. Once you have practiced and removed all
the longer hairs, a few minutes every other day should give
you a clean
hairless back.
QA:
Does it hurt?
Not at all. In fact the sensation is
very pleasant and smooth.
How will I know if it is working?
There will be a distinct cutting sound as it is cutting the hair.
Will my hair grow back thicker and
denser?
This is “an old wife’s
tale” ,but a very good
question. No, it has no effect on density at all. Only
age brings that on.
Will there be irritation as the hair grows back?
None at all. The hair is cut just slightly
above the surface of your skin. Therefore the hair does not
have to regenerate your
outer
layer
unlike a razor that can itch and be quite uncomfortable
when the hair begins to surface again.
How long does it take?
The first time you use the BackSPA,
it will take longer than the rest. Depending on density and
thickness and area it can take
anywhere from 15-25 minutes the first time. After that
it should only be
about
5 to
10.
How often do I need to use it?
The basic premise here is everyone is different, but one to
twice a week is all it takes and besides it is quite a nice
feeling.
Will it leave a rash or any marks?
This product is completely nonabrasive
you should may experience a little irritation or
slight redness
in the skin
for up to 5 minutes after, much like getting a massage
or rubbing your
back.
How often should I replace the BackSPA?
We typically recommend a replacement
after 10 uses. Again everyone is different. You can hear
and see if the groomer
has become
dull so it should be obvious that it’s time for
a new one. The BackSPA has a unique way of letting you
know it needs replacing: When the hair
is being removed you can actually hear a pleasant sound
like a scraping. When this sound dims or becomes less
frequent it may be time for a
new head.
